We know that every year there are some people who wait a few days to make their donation, hoping they can direct it toward one of the organizations that hasn’t attracted as much attention.
Our big winners so far are The Young Center, which has gotten 24.3% of all donations made(!), along with the Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund which has gotten 11.6% of donations and RAINN which has gotten 11.2%.
Right now, the five groups that have gotten the least donations are:
Center for Public Integrity - 0.5%
Manomet - 1.5%
Unsilence - 2.0%
Clean Water Fund - 3.6%
Higher Heights - 3.7%
(We have 14 organizations, so if they all got an equal share it would be around 7.1% each, for reference.)
Obviously, all of our organizations are excellent causes and you are always welcome to donate to any of them, but if you’re one of those who likes to spread the love around, consider these five!
Remember, donations for high bids are due Friday, March 6 and donations for ROFL and second bid offers are due Sunday, March 8. Many craft stalls are also still open and taking donations until March 6.
