The Legend of Heroes (英雄伝説 Eiyū Densetsu) is a series of role-playing games which have been released over the past 35 years. There are separate branches and entry points, but all games have fantasy settings and epic narratives.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky:
Part of the Legend of Heroes franchise, Trails in the Sky is an RPG game that takes place in Liberl Kingdom, 10 years after being invaded by the Erebonian Empire from the north. Currently, the kingdom is experiencing a period of prosperity due to the technological advancement using orbal energy. The Bracer Guild exists to maintain peace, and can be called up for monster extermination, crime prevention and peace talks among warring nations. When an orbalship transporting a legendary bracer suddenly goes missing, said bracer's daughter, Estelle, and adoptive son, Joshua, must join forces in search of him across the entire Kingdom of Liberl.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel:
Taking place on the same continent as Trails in the Sky, Trails of Cold Steel is the first in the series to tread Erebonian soil and explore the inner political conflicts of this powerful nation in detail. Set in a high school environment, this game allows players to delve into the expansive lore of the Legend of Heroes, bond with fellow students and investigate events that stand to the status quo between two opposing social classes.
